Vegas
Mood:  party time!
Well, I am off to Vegas tomorrow. I am sure that I won't have time to add to my blog. I'll be back Monday and probably won't have time to make an entry then either. So, i'll shoot for Tuesday.
Anybody reading this please send good vibes that i'll win big! I would love to bring money home rather than be totally broke. I plan on eating alot
and having lots of beverages(if you know what I mean). And I am going to play the nickle machines a bunch.
I'll give a report on my time in Las Vegas when I get back.

Wish me luck!

Frog Tails
Mood:  energetic
Topic: Ty's many frogs....
Ok, my son Tyler loves little critters. He's had a gecko in the past and adored him(he died). He's had
a turtle named Turtle for years now.(He's a water turtle so you can't really play with him) And recenlty he begged me for a frog. First it was gonna just be an aquarium frog but I would have to buy a tank and all the stuff and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much money. So we had a couple 5 gallon tanks that weren't suitable
for water and some lidsand I figured what the heck I'll get him a little tree frog.
At Petsmart they have Green tree Frogs for $9.99.
I bought Tyler a tree frog and all the supplies he would need. We got home and Tyler was so excited.
The frog was in a plastic bag filled with air.(like what they give you with fish) Out of his excitment to get his frog ready he opened the bag. I told him
I wasn't ready for that frog yet and that he better hold tight to the bag or the frog would jump out.
Recently I have felt much frustration with my son not listening to me and he's spent quite a bit of time in "time out". No sooner did I tell him to hold tightly to the frog's bag when out of the corner of my eye this frog came flyin at me! Of course I couldn't help but scream! My daughter who was helping me just stood there looking at me and her friend Bailey ran into the other room.(I think I scared her) Tyler quickly says "Sorry mom, I'll go to my room now". He knows the drill....
Anyway, I caught the frog and put him in his tank and all was well. About a week later I go in the morning to check on Turtle and Frog and Turtle was good but no Frog. So I pull out the tank and I look closer. Still NO Frog. I then take the lid off and
pull out the log and bushes and his water dish. Still no frog. So, I run my finger thru the bark
bedding and I don't feel anything. I am rackin my brain trying to figure out where that green guy could have went. I was worried Tyler would be sad and I remembered that the guy in Petsmart said that Green Tree Frogs were very close to our Pacific Northwest Tree Frog. So I head out to the back yard to look for a frog. It was easy to find one because they love our hottub. Not get in it but rather sit right under it where the pump is. I catch a little guy and bring him in the house and put him in the tank.
All was well with the world.
Next morning, same routine. Check on Turtle check on Frog 2. And low and behold there is Frog! Oh my goodness!
There he is sitting in his favorite spot. I don't get it! Where was he hiding? All I can think is that Green Tree Frogs can turn brown and that he cleverly hid himself in the bark and I must have just missed him with my finger.
Anyway, the two frogs were fat and happy and I thought that they might need a bigger tank. Sometimes at Goodwill they have used fish tanks.
We went and sure enough they had a nice 10 gallon perfect for two tree frogs. This tank had a great
lid with a light for 13.95 what a steal. So we brought it home and set that baby right up. The frogs seemed happy for the new space. Next day I get up and again check on Turtle and Frog and Frog 2. Uh, there were no frogs!
both were definatly gone. On closer insepection
I noticed a nickle sized space on the lid. I realized that they must have got out that hole and headed for the hills.(out Tyler's bedroom window).
So, I had a very sad little boy. The tank was empty for a week except for a few crickets.
Today we went to a pet store and bought Tyler a new frog. This is a big guy. He's a Whites Tree Frog and he's about four inches in diameter. Tyler named him Junior. I covered the hole and I am sure Junior will find it rather nice living in Tyler's room.
My boy will love him I am positive.

VICTORY!!!!
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: neighbors 2

What can say? We are victorious. Weeeeee are the champions my friend...Weeeee will keep on fighting till the end....We are the campions we are the champions...sing it baby.

Our neighborhood got a letter from the County today.
The County's hearing examinor has ruled in our favor about the conditional use permit D----n's Asphalt had to get. The County pretty much told D---n's Asphalt that they
are out of luck. They have to do all the conditions in the conditional use permit and our ammenments were added. Our ammendments were basicly time limits on the conditions they have to do to keep their business located on their property. Condition 29 (yes there more conditions than that) states that they have to put a raised pedestrian pathway along our street from their driveway, wich is the end of the street to where our street meets 234th. Its a pretty long distance. It isn't your ordanary city street distance. This is a rural residential neighbord. D---n's Asphalt only has 4 months to complete it. They also have to build a privacy fence along our property line. I don't have to look at them anymore and they won't be able to spy on us!!! They have 2 months to complete the fence.
Not only that but they have to submit plans to the County for the fence before they build it. They can't just build any old fence. It has to be NICE! The only thing I wished we could have added was that they can't do business on the weekends. They are allowed to work 7 days a week. I suppose I can deal with that.

Anyway, didn't I say yesterday WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND!?

I am sure there will be more drama with our white trash neighbors. I expect it as part of my life now.
What I need to do is learn to cope with it a little better.

What a great day this has tured out to be!

My first day
Mood:  accident prone
Topic: neighbors

Ok, I had this whole thing already typed up and then STUPID me hit a button and poof its all gone.
I have to start over now....I don't even remember what I wrote last time.....oh well....I'll try my best.

So here it goes:

We have the worst neighbors. They are icky, crack usin, white trash, assbackwards bastards.
A little history on why I feel this way.
About two years ago the D----n's moved in next door.
We live out in a rual are located in the Pacific Nortwest. Our lot is five achers. The D----n's is seven achers. Shortly after they moved in we started noticing a huge volume of large utility type vehicles and dump trucks pulling in and out of their driveway. There was banging and beeping going on at all hourse of the day and nite. And soon I discovered that they were running an asphalt company right there on their property.
Well, I couldn't believe that a business like that can be run in a residential neighborhood so I called the county's code inforcment. Come to find out the neighbors didn't even have a business license! Let alone a permit to run an asphalt company on their property.( this is one reason why I state they are assbackwards)
Well, they got in trouble for not having any of the appropriate permits. They have a fuel tank located
on their property that wasn't properly contained. I am sure you wonder why anyone would worry about that. OH lets see...could it be that leaking could damage our well water OR it could BLOW UP!?
They got a huge fine for that one.
Well, the county has been after them for different violations since then. And recently they tried to get revenge on me. Because that little phone call I made to the county a little over a year ago cost them thousands of dollars so far.
I don't want to get real deep into the details of what they accused me of. Just know that they lied. It was proved they were lying before the officer put two feet on the ground and they will find out what kinda trouble you get in when you file false charges. They said I owned a rottweiler that bites people etc... but I don't own a rott. Like I said I have cockers and a chi. Our other neighbors do and he often visits us but he's not ours. I guess when the D----n's were spying over the fence one day they saw that rotty here. Oh well...its over now

I end todays entry with a little
words of wisdom I like to think about when I am really mad the nasty neighbors. *what goes around, comes around*
